Talking to both girls (if there together) is an old dating trick to make sure that the girl he likes’ friend wont badmouth him to that girl – so he’ll try to make a good impression all around. OR – Maybe he’s just being friendly. OR – it’s a way to hedge your bets to see if “any one” of the girls will be interested. Not my style (I usually just make a bee-line just for the girl I like) but thanks for making me realize my way is likely the best. I only need one girl – if she’s a good one.
