I'v noticed that most horses with shivers are drafts or draft crosses? Does anyone else notice this?

Could you please keep us posted on how your horse is doing. My horse is also a spotted draft....don't know if drafts or draft crosses are more prone to EPM. I should keep a video log as well. Please let me know how it is going. Screw these people who just was to critize everyone else. They are obviously lacking their own confidence.

People are so ignorant...what the hell is the matter with this person complaining about your riding...GET A LIFE!! Let's see a video of YOUR great riding skills. My horse was also just diagnosed with EPM and he fell twice while I was riding him and he went down the exact same way this horse did. I cried when I saw your video. I know how awful it is. The reason the horse is acting sore is because he IS!!! Until you have a horse with EPM - SHUT UP!! To the girl who owns the horse, good luck

I do not know if you wanted to jump because of the jumping vest, or whether the protection is simply to. because if you wanted to jump, I would suggest you first learn to ride rightly. I hope you're both ok.

@phyllislanejackass like i said nobody is perfect and u dnt even know the horse to begin with and it have shivers so leave her alone maby its hard to ride the horse k?
-
@punchjumper3744 Well obviously u dont know how to ride.u can see how irritated the horse is and it's getting mixed signals cuz the rider is pulling on the poor horses mouth and kicking it
-
@phyllislanejackass omg ur so rude not everyone is perfect i think her riding is fine! =]
Thank you for understanding. I love my horse but I don't dare ride him faster than a walk after he fell.

Others would have killed this horse and gotten themselves something better, maybe so they could go to shows and win equitation ribbons. If fact he was put through an auction at the age of 12 months and again at 13 months when he went through again as a trained horse to ride. Because he is big, he is a belgian/quarterhorse, he was sold as already to ride. Wobblers, stringhalt and shivers have often been diagnosed in draft crosses. He already had surgery to help with the stringhalt.

I am the ridier of the horse. For the person who seemed more critical of my riding ability than the health of the horse, this horse can hardly walk a straight line, stop or back up. You really think I should jump him, Considering the fall at the end of the video didn't you think that maybe I was wearing a vest in the event of a fall? I will tell you this, there is more to horsemanship than riding perfectly and winning ribbons. Did you really think this was an equitation video?
