  • Thanks for the video, it helped me with my Rossi 62 SA. I would like to know how to remove the pump too

  • @1136tscc The pump?

I think you mean the forend from the action tube?

There are 2 screws on the sides of the forend, remove these and slide the forend forward and off the action tube,,

  • Great video ... I had to "soak" the cover plate screw on mine but it freed up after 25 mintues. Much thanks!

  • @wsas7816 That rifle was an absolute mess when it was turned over to me! It took almost a full month of soaking, and heating, and tapping to get everything apart, repaired and working. Hangs on a wall now & 1 day we may reline the barrel.

    Thanks for watching.

  • Nice video! I never knew how to remove the bolt until this video came along! Excellent. Mine was missing the small removable plate over the slide rod. Made a brass replacement. Sure would be great to find a real replacement....

  • @daveparker777 Several part houses carry replacement slide bar cover plates, Gun Parts Inc, jackfirstgun com, and a couple of specialist who work only with Winchester slide .22s.

  • Copy on the resources for the slide bar cover plates! I'll check it out! Thanks again!

  • @willspar2 Your welcome.

The spring is a fairly easy fix.

  • @willspar2 Probably a chipped hammer notch or sear.

This example was not a personal firearm and is no longer in my possession.

There is a tension spring for the trigger & you can check to see if that is the issue by pushing the trigger forward as you cock the hammer. If it is the spring the hammer should still catch and hold. HTH
