This is about knowing our neighbors and caring about community not just in small towns but in Belltown, Kirkland and downtown Seattle.
We're not perfect, but we do what we can. Jill composts her pizza crust and mango rind. Andy stands for equality even for red-headed step children. Mike wears his "I voted" sticker down the street to drink a pint of Manny's. Lizzy would give a hug to any CEO that cared about people more than profit.
Curious why? Our co-op has principles, 7 of them. And how we're trying to live up to them could get pretty interesting to watch. We're Lizzy, Kevin, Jill, Mike, CJ and Andy. We work at a co-op, like REI, in Seattle. We want to know you too. What makes you feel good?
What matters to you? We kinda think changing the world starts at home and you don't have to be Bill Gates to make a difference. If you could change one thing to make the world, your neighbors, the people you love feel good, what would it be?
Tell us what makes you feel good.
So, is this video about Metropolitan and their employees? Or other employees that use Metropolitan? I kept waiting to actually 'get' something out of this video, but in the end, I thought, well, if this video is the way they do business then I will go somewhere else.
