www.pmrcorlando.com. 407 265 2100. Patient had Botox for severe left torticollis. Instead of just stretching, enhanced your PT treatment by applying neuro principles including PNF when treating post Botox injected patients. Her response was noted in one of her PT sessions, and I just want to share this to improve post Botox treatment of dystonia. Our brain remembers mass movement patterns e.g. extension synergy better before isolated movements. So start with primitive mass movement patterns before focusing on isolated fine movements. Add also visual facilitation. For more information call 407 265 2100 or visit http://www.pmrcorlando.com/medical.html

  • @DirtySanchezLives yes. a had to combine exercise with many other things, the natural and healthy way worked for me.

  • I was really bad and recovered, make me laugh they called spontaneous remission. My neck arm, leg, eyes, affected, found a natural way. no more botox and no wires in my head. I had to do more than organic natural food to fix my dystonia but it is gone.

  • I had two treatments of botox for my focal eyelid dystonia 16 years ago and then stopped it after I had a "frozen face". Shortly after I found a naturally organic food that, within 6 weeks, eliminated my spasms. I am still near symptom-free.

  • You mean to tell me that poison and physical therapy are supposed to help the splenius muscles and the SCM? Of course extension of the arm helps the flexion of the neck, it's a separate muscle group. She didn't turn her head with the PNF, that was obviously her ILS performing that rotation in the thoracic area. You're seeing what you want to so you can keep making money from the botox people. How do you sleep at night?

Oh, and get your hand off your phone, straighten your tie.

  • I have botox for CD, but what does work for me is balance games on the Wii fit because it helps mind/body co-ordination.

  • Have you heard or read about the danger to the patient of applying PT principles to only one side of the neck? Please check stclinic.com. I've been using their long-distance program for almost two years, and haven't needed Botox since I started this program. I had been getting quarterly Botox injections for 3-4 years before discovering and applying this program. CD/ST is a disorder of the brain, not a physical malady. PT should be used to retrain the brain to rely on both sides of the neck.
