David Holmgren is the co-originator of the permaculture concept with Bill Mollison. Through the spread of permaculture around the world, his environmental principles have exerted a global influence.
In Part 2 of our interview with him, David Holmgren speaks about the "agro-rebel" Sepp Holzer after his first visit to Sepp´s farm. He also gives some short thoughts about natural farming Masanobu Fukuoka.
This interview was made by Heidi Snel, ÖKOFILM during the IPC7 in Motovun, Croatia in june 2005. In PART 2 of the interview Holmgren talks about Sepp Holzer and Masanobu Fukuoka. Please visit David Holmgren´s websites: www.holmgren.com.au www.futurescenarios.org Some great films about permaculture are available at www.ecofilm.de
Mollison, Holmgren, Stuart Hill, some of the smartest people in the world. Oh yes and Holzer too! Fukuoka, has passed on to greater things but he too was one of the greats.

Hi taitungknight, if you're interested in permaculture I strongly recommend the documentary "Establishing a Food Forest the Permaculture Way". Cheers.

VERY interesting! I'd never heard of "permaculture" before today, but have been thinking for some years now that there must be a more natural way of farming, and that having biomass is important. So I am indeed very interested to hear of this, and am inspired to learn a lot more!
