the walls of sana'a (part 2 ) - Sana'a 1971

the second part of this beautiful documentary also shows the town of orte in italy, during the wild speculation of the 1970s that spoilt our country's treasures. it ends with a passional appeal to UNESCO.
sana'a, by the way, was declared world heritage site by UNESCO in 1986, 11 years after pasolini's tragic death.
the dubbed voices are not good, i know, but it was my first experiment with movie maker and my friend ba'nk.

thank you for saying that, but not all italians are compassionate! actually the director of this documentary was very controversial and he ended up being killed for his non-orthodox views!

in any case, you may say that italian people value the past, as they are mostly born in the middle of ruins and signs of the past.

I am grateful for having seen this video&heard the pleas of the Italian ppl. I didn't know how compassionate the Italians are. I only knew the American ones...who developed the selfish American attitude that so many of us have. I thank you, and the Italian ppl. that support and value the beauty of the past.
