When to attack is a tricky question for many recreational players. Often, rec players aren't positioned properly or over-hit... sometimes they make both mistakes at the same time!

Well, it turns out your footwork -- specifically, the footwork patterns you use -- can be an indicator of when to attack.

When you're able to use something called "dynamic footwork" and the walking and hopping steps, then you're in position to attack.

  • @frinxblvs

it's the shirts! or is it the hair? B)

  • @JoshuaBuffone he's not in the military. Real men let their hair grow.

  • @DuhEnlightenedOne My god...your right...

  • It always concerns me to move just 2-4 ft inside the baseline like you have illustrated in the "green light" area. I always fear being in "no mans land" & having someone stick a ball at my feet or make me pick the ball out of the air which is usually more difficult to handle. For me, I either hit behind the baseline, and if/when the point dictates me moving in, I go to net. So, why would I ever want to go inside the baseline just a few ft & wait on a return that may be too tough to handle?

  • @FYB2007 lol nice will but you have the right to be cocky because your beast!

  • Hey Will,

just wondering if you could possibly help me with my game...I can hit against some of the hardest hitters on my team as well as other schools but once it comes to slicers and moon-ballers i seem to have problems keeping the ball deep and under control on my forehand side. I have a semi-western grip with heavy topspin...if you could get back that would be great...THANK YOU

  • @frinxblvs obviously he's gaining in muscle mass

  • Will, any exercise you suggest to improve my tennis. My first tournament is comming up. Got to get in shape. I want to become a professional. I am a twelve year old junior.

  • @FYB2007 I saw those videos when you first made them, I was so glad you made them because I've always wanted to see you play. So thank you.

I must say, Yann is also very good.
