David Spark, reporting at CIO Boot Camp at Interop in Las Vegas.
I sat down with Neal Shelley, Deputy Expert Director for Service Operations U.S. Army Information Technology Agency. He was talking with Karlin Sue Bohnert, Chief Development Officer, VP Emeritus - Abercrombie & Fitch.
Shelley works at the Pentagon and his headquarters was at the point of impact during 9/11. He was on the opposite side of the building and didn't even feel the impact. Disasters became huge learning experience. And what Shelley learned from 9/11 is in order to deal with recovery operations you must know where your people are.
