This is Jimmy Page's solo from Led Zeppelin, "White Summer / Black Mountainside". This arrangement was taken mostly from the version that was on the 1990 CD collection. I then added some of my own elements to it. The delay you hear is in stereo, using two amps side-by-side: a Fender Blues Junior and a Vox Valvetronix AD50VT with a Line 6 DL4 Delay Modeller.

  • shit hot bro...how old are you geez ? you sure got discipline and motivation...it takes a lot of getting your head round it like you say..you just gotta break it down ....pagey is the guvnor and your the bolox too ....nice one geez !!!!!

  • lol thanks a lot! I'm 17. First picked up the guitar when I was about 9. And yea for sure music, like anything you wanna get good at takes motivation and practice. And pretty much anyone can get good with that. But yea thanks I appreciate your comment. And the tuning is DADGAD. That's from low E string to high E string. Good luck!

  • wow! very good. How did you learn all that? Is that all practice by ear? I'd say you hit like 95% of the licks. There are so many sub licks to that song, how did u manage to get that? How long did it take to figure all that out?!?

  • Thank you very much, and thanks for subscribing as well. I did learn this song by ear, and I learned it in about a week. It took a lot of practice to play it well though. But basically it just took a lot of pausing the MP3 after every phrase to get each one down, which can be quite frustrating. I also had to figure out the tuning to start with. But I finally pieced it all together, nonetheless.

  • yea, i mean i have most of the parts but as simple as you can get with it. you really got all the little inbetween notes that give it a full sound. Its definitely your finger picking skill, again good job

  • Thanks again, man. And good luck with that!
