You know, I noticed that Most cults have a "prophet" that hear from God, or have visions from God. And I can't help but think of the similarities of them and of the modern churches of today. They too have extreme prophets and new teachings going on. They too go hunting around looking for a "new fresh word" or a new anointing from God. I hope God will open their eyes and see how dangerous all that is. Satan can conger up a beautiful, good feeling, supernatural meeting, and deceive them all.

I am afraid that Born Again Christianity is a very big fraud. Born Again people go to church every Sunday in T-Shirts, Flip Flops and Blue Jeans. They sit and get entertained by Pseudo Religious "Praise" Music....listen to a 30 min sermon...and then rush like HELL to get to Cracker Barrel first. They have NO spiritual depth at all.
As a Muslim I am SHOCKED by the Biblical ignorance of so many "born again" Christians. They find American Idol FAR more interesting than the Gospel.
What a Joke!

True, but doesn't mean the God of the gospel is a fraud.
If you determine the truth of YHWH by His people who haven't got it together then your point is extremely lame.

Jesus did not support, defend, or even tolerate religious differences. He told the religious leaders of His day to repent. He called them hypocrites and snakes. The Apostle Paul warned churches during his day,"If anyone gives you a different gospel whether from men or even an angel they are to be accursed". (Gal 1:6-10) If you love your fellow man you will try to help them not to be accursed. You will step out and say "this is wrong". All roads do not lead to heaven. (Jn 14:6)
that's a pretty large cross necklace Dr. Martin has on there

Just something worth mentioning. Your note says this documentary is from the early 70's. But the first thing they talk about in this is the Jonestown massacre -- which took place in late 1978. Could you have possibly meant the early 80's?
