@Mematman15 ...I didn't see the video correctly, which means that since the goomba fell into the pit and Mario jumped over that same pit, the game thinks Mario jumped under it.

@BunBunzx3Babii You know how when something shows up on the rightmost side of the screen, sometimes it shows up in that place on the other side? Same goes for the top and bottom, so since he jumped over a pit while on a high platform, the game thinks he fell through it.
