  • That's not nu, that's Mu. :\

I must thank you for the vid. :38 - :45 is exactly why I was worried about Mu-12- being broken. If only Blank Card 520 had kept going with it to see.

And I'll have to remember (and figure out) 8:43.

  • @H0R5H0E oh crap i totally didn't see that typo. thanks.

yeah i'm really not sure what im supposed to do against good Mus either... im thinking of just approaching with guarded jumps till im a little closer at least and maybe then it's actually possible to punish her between drives. iono i didn't get a chance to play him that much.

  • @H0R5H0E I'm not entirely sure what you were trying to say here. I was just trying to give you some tips on how to get around Mu's laser spam. Like Testament's old traps, they're not for damage or pressure (not on their own anyway), they're for area control. But with that said, they're not very good control on their own. I was just trying to point out the hole in their pressure since you were apparently worried about it being broken (which is a legitimate concern).

  • @Shinkada "If you hit Mu her steins won't fire," this makes all the difference. Yes.

But the precise delay, whatever it is, -creates- the traps. The quickest demonstration: How else could Mu intentionally shoot where the opponent isn't? Since a Stein is interruptible (as any move), without a delay-aim, they'd just be weird projectiles. As is, the balancing factor is at least universal: Startup and CH-state.

  • @lmnz If you hit Mu her steins won't fire, so that's something to remember.

The other important thing is that the steins aren't very accurate. They actually aim about 15 frames (complete estimate) before they fire, so as long as you're moving at a reasonable pace they won't hit you.

A good idea vs drive spam is to guard any ones the opponent puts at ground level, and as soon as the last ground-level one fires, rush them and hit with your longest/fastest move. The aerial ones will miss you.
