In 2006 Caroline Locke was invited to create designs for a new permanent sculpture for the redevelopment of The new School of Governance at Maastricht University. She has now installed two sound fountains which allow spectators to visualise music through the medium of water. The artist transmits the sound of students voices through water to create fountains and wave formations.
