Pentagram in urban street design (Freemason connection)

New Zealand's capital city Wellington has a pentagram in central city block design.
With Masons Lane and old Freemasons Lodge (crnr Stout and Whitmore St) in the vicinity. The pentagram is symbol for ancient Venus (planet) traditions/worship.
The pentagram is thought 'satanic' in some quarters only because in the past the Roman Catholic Church tried to destroy some older traditions like the symbol and traditions surrounding the pentagram, and some reactionary types have ignorantly used the symbol connected with various pathological behavior.
