Another P-51 sadly bites the dust. Thank God the pilot baled out successfully.

@jthqrules You're welcome, I hope my first somewhat 'frustrated' comment didn't offence you. It was shortly after I heard about this so not really thoughtful to be honest ;-)

I went the previous day and this flying display was great but the crowd thought some planes were flying too close together.

Stupid French commentators!! Who's finally going to kick them out and get a British bloke back in the tower who actually looks up to see what's going on in the air once in a while instead of summing up old chewed up one-liners while a pilot is in serious distress!!!!

@Anacinc DUDE. Chill out! They're not allowed to comment on a crash so as to not cause any panic in the crowd.

@jthqrules Well, You might just be right... sounds plausible to me that they won't mention anything in order to avoid any disturbances. However, I've seen two in '96 when Hoof's P38 crashed and the commentator did an excellent job with keeping the public informed and another horrific crash at Barton later that month involving the Mosquito where this commentator wasn't able to suppress his emotions. No panic whatsoever... only disappointment and regret.

@Anacinc Well, i am not sure, he may not have even been looking. But i am pretty sure he was just trying to keep everyone calm. Thanks for the comments
