That police officer who was shouting in my face(though that part wasn't captured on video) was a veteran. I think that's wonderful. He mentioned how he fought for our rights such as freedom of speech. That's why i'm confused as to why he didn't seem to fully appreciate that right which we exercised so well that day.

He wasn't . if you listened to him that day his speach was a left-wing anti-gun agenda. He calls himself a fucking republican but doesn't give a damn about the second amendment. We are attempting to make this country better, by making politicians hear our voices. Big companies and interests have the money to donate to make sure they are "heard". And this is not just a USA movement: We (of the world) disagree with the control of the economic and political elites. Their time is fading.

I'm glad Sen. Lugar is a classy individual and remained calm and collected throughout. Senator Lugar always takes time to listen to consitutents and the "occupiers" could have used some manners and spoken with him after the event. Instead, they ruined the forum for everyone involved.
And to "TheNova1960" - I saw Piers Morgan and read the transcript. Lugar never said he "backed" Romney. When asked who we thought the frontrunner of the GOP race was, he said Romney. That's not an endorsement.
