Hi Peggy -- I too have loved Carol since I "discovered" her when I was about 9 years old...I'm now 62! It's hard to believe as I watch this Youtube clip that she is going to be 80 on Friday! On behalf of her fans everywhere, HAPPY 80TH CAROL! I'm one of so many that are "so glad we had this time together...!"

My mom who was born in Italy with basically no family here in America left an abusive husband and raised five children by herself working from our home sewing. She never slept  and was always working. She often says she slept about five hours a night for 20 years; however, the one show she made sure we watched together was the Carol Burnett show.Typing this brought tears to my eyes even though I still have my mom - thank you Carol as I'm so glad we had that time together.
