That's why at every airshow you go to when '558 is at, you need to be as far down the end of the runway as possible! the howl is only audible when the air intakes are in front of you, so at farnborough, i took my position at the far end of the runway. A bloody long walk, but worth it to hear that banshee howl for the length of the runway

There is nothing else with her sound at take-off - the Vulcan yowl. Takes off like a scolded cat, too!

yea that awsome plane is at sunderland just on the saturday was going to see it but starts to early for me going to scarborough for the week so i will miss her when she goes to sunderland bloody annoyed that i miss her hope you enjoy the airshow mate am going on sunday instead
