Testing the Tear Mender Adhesive as a replacement for a table tennis glue. It's a latex water-based(non-toxic). I used my wife's paddle for testing. It really works.

Thanks for the channel wturber for showing it here in YT. I just made another video to support your video... that Tear Mender is really working.

It's my first time to used this glue. The next time around, removing the glue residue may be more faster.

  • That's some serious Ping Pong

  • the glue is not that thick

just put another layer on top of it

  • @unitim The term re-gluing in table tennis was use back when speed glue was legal. Players re-glue their rubbers a few hrs. before the match because the speed glue enhance the characteristics of the sponge. Meaning more speed and spin.

In the video he is just showing the differrence between the table tennis rubber glue vs the tear mender. It has nothing to do with re-using the old wornout rubber.

  • san mo nabili yang Tear Mender Adhesive?

  • I never understood re-gluing. Why won't you wear the rubber completely when it loses its grippiness significantly and just get a new one.

  • you ripped your sponge on the rubber:L

  • Do you like "Tear Mender" better than rubber cement?

  • Cool - I'm glad to see that it is working well for you. I like your presentation using the time-lapse.
