From the special features section of our DVD Model Railroad video vol 1: Modeling a prototype, here's a full train runby of the Coos Bay Hauler Eastas it rolls across the high trestle over the middle fork of the Coquille River. This train runs daily from Coos Bay to Eugene, OR. This HO model train represents as realistically as possible what you would have seen in July 1984 in Southern Oregon on the SP railroad. Modeling by Joe Fugate.

  • Nice musical accompaniment - who is it?

  • That's royalty-free music from TracksNow. You buy the music up front for $100 per CD then can use it wherever you want (non-exclusive, so your tune could show up on someone else's work).

  • Moschops42 is right !!!!!!!

    try : treinbaan 3000

  • That rockformation, that bridge..so real.

try for little bit less real : treinbaan 3000

  • That looks so real.

  • Would have steam era trains run as slow?

  • Yea, Joe, great Job, I see you are a fan of the SD7, SD9 series!

  • Joe, This scene is very impressive and a great work of art. The rust on the trestle, the rock facing on the mountain, and the slow careful speed of that manifest makes this top notch! Thanks for posting this link on the forum!
