  • nursing school sucks ass

  • @dhide14 thank you for your thoughtful comment

  • how long is the whole process to be a RN? thats what im about to try and start doing

  • @DrWexxler you have to take prerequesites such as biology, microbiology, anatomy and physiology, chemistry. Once you take several prerequ's and pass the NET (Nursing Entrance Exam), then you can apply to a nursing program. This is the Associates Degree route. If you can get into a Univeristy (4 year Bachelors degree) and get your BSN as opposed to just your associates in nursing, do it !!

  • hey thanks for sharing your input into nursing. I really appreciate it. I'm in the Air Force right now going through xray school. I'm considering applying for nursing school once I'm done. Was it difficult applying or getting accepted to nursing school - like were there waiting lists? I believe there are waiting lists in st. louis.

  • @jthono stick with xray school if you can get in...hours are better, job is easier. Nursing is a thankless job these days. Its tough out there !

  • @jazzmatik as far as 'nursing schools', most 4 year universities wont accept your with crappy grades. I had a Bachelors in Psychology coming into nursing. I went to community college to get a nursing degree....crazy, right ?! I was able to use my previous credits to fulfill many of my nursing prerequisites...as you will !! Good luck, nursing is not for the timid or sane !!!!
