I loved this cover. I didn't think it was too upbeat, I thought it had just the right amount of strokes, and I think you really captured the passion that Brian has with a lot of his songs. As for the rasp, try it out with your own voice before you try to morph it like his. Still sounded great, though, I think it fit you really well. You did a great job. :) And like everyone else is begging, if I give you my email, can I get these chords? Haha.

IMO your cover's a bit too upbeat. The reason this song stands out on the album's because it's the first one to slow it down. By adding all the upstrokes, it just felt like you're trying to change the mood from what it is. That said, I really liked your vocals.
