This guy is a monster. He at times comes out as quiet and introspective, but once he gets on the animal, he becomes one giant fireball, breaking through.
He is one of my main role models.

I'd say it's more like a Theme with Variations, of which a fugue is imcluded. It's certainly a 'tour de force'!

I agree with rodrigodemarsillac... Fred obviously understands how to use counterpoint in his playing. Lots of inner voices moving independently. At times it sounds like a jazz fugue.
