Jemi in the Real World Ep 14 : "Christmas Eve" Part 10/10

I let a brief chuckle before I turned to the keys. Then again in a sudden, the room was filled with a composition so complex yet unbearably lovely. I used my best skills to make something out of her composition, and tried it along. We worked on our little experiment in total silence as we both absorbed at the same time the meaning of.. our song.

Demi sighed as she pressed the last keys with a dramatic ending. "That's awesome."

I smiled at her. "That's perfect."

She giggled. "You're really good. How did you come up with that?"

"You inspired me." I teased as I held her hand.

She flashed the sweetest smile I could ever perceive. "I wrote that one for you."

"So I guess it's our little composition, now?" I smirked, squeezing her hand.

"Definitely. And I love it." She beamed.

Couple of silent seconds took place. I stared right into her eyes. She stared back, with a sweet smile on her lips.

"I love you." I said with passion and sincerity coloring my voice, breaking the silence.

"I love you too, Joe."

I closed my eyes and took in a very, very deep breath and sum up all my courage to accept the urge and take the best move, as the force of allurement approached my lips. I opened my eyes, and she was right there, her face so close to mine. Her beauty stunned my mind - it was too much as it could stop my heart from thudding in any moment.

Do it Joe, I thought to myself. I took her face in my hands while I trembled in breathing.

I leaned forward slowly, as hesitation tried to swallow me. I wondered how she would react, would she even accept my offer? An offer that was something I'd dreamed of constantly since the first day I'd seen her. But even she chose to show the unexpected return, perhaps I could hesitate to prolong the moment - foresight of perfection.

Still, I tried.

And in a time felt like an hour, finally in deep silence, my lips found hers. I pressed my trembling lips softly against hers. She deepened it softly as I heard a little giggle which made me smile for awhile - as it felt awkward in the lips while kissing her. My fingers visibly shook and my heart raced, yet the moment hasn't gone to its end. She moved her lips together with mine, as her fingers knotted in my hair, clutching me to her closer. I wasn't sure if I was still holding on reality itself, but so far, I could still feel her soft lips locked on mine and the mild pressure and awkwardness of my first kiss.. with Demi. And only this I could envision, nothing else was more amazing than what was happening right exactly at this moment.

I deepened the kiss once more before pulling away.

Opening my eyes slowly, I looked at her. She opened her eyes as well, and stared at mine very intently, as if she wanted to say something.

I chuckled, and caressed her cheeks. Smiling.

"That was.." She breathed. "something."

This time, I laughed. "Yeah."

"Now." She nodded, flashing my all-time favorite smile. "This is what you call, 'Perfect night'." Then she giggled, nothing but music to my ears.

"So this is what you're trying to tell me about that"--I mimicked her tone--"'Not yet, Joe.'"

She giggled and sighed for a brief moment. Then she stared right into my eyes again. "That's our first kiss."

"Pretty romantic isn't it?" I joked, playing with some strands of her brunnette hair, as we still sat infront of her grand piano.

"A little." She giggled as she scooched closer and rested her head on my shoulder.

I put my arms around her and sighed. "I love you."

She took in a deep breath and giggled softly, her head still lied on my shoulder. "I love you, too."

The atmosphere was getting colder as I turned my fingers, once more, to the piano keys, and let the music fill the room with quiet felicity.
