Re: a man and woman joining together to be "one flesh" -- check this out. This is what someone told me a long time ago. 1+1=1 according to this logic. So that means that 1+1+1=1 and 1+1+1+1=1 lol. AND SO ON AND SO FORTH.

It always equals one.

If the man takes on however many wives, they are always 1. It NEVER EVER goes to 2.

And I know you don't prefer women to teach, but I have my husband's permission to post my polygyny videos. So I humbly ask you to check them out. :-)

Wow I love this arguement I am definately going to use it.

As to your husband alowing you to teach if your husband allowed you to lie or steal or murder would you do it? I dont think so because the commandments of God are higher then the commandments of your husband. If your husband allows you to sin it is still a sin. The difference is that not only are you sinning so is he. If your videos were for women only then You would be off the hook since women teaching women is ok

@sixthheretic ...the commandments for a woman is to obey her husband. The commandments are not conditional. If this commandment is conditional then all commandments of similar wording are conditional. The Most High perfers women to obey, to submit, to serve and revere her husband -- as she would The Most High Elohim.

All verses in regards to Authorities in general say the same. Submit to authority and it will be well with you. Allow YHWH to deal with everything. Pray to Him and ask for help.

@DreamGyrl360 If your husband told you to have sex with another man would you do it knowing that he would divorce you for the cause of fornication. your husband is not perfect but god is. Would you lie or steal or murder if your husband told you to do so? What if he told you to smoke crack? would you do that or would place Gods will for your life higher then your husbands will?

@sixthheretic yeah.....that doesnt make any sense what your saying...this is how you sound : "if your husband tells you to jump off a cliff, then kill a fish, then eat it without putting any salt in it, then he divorce you then what!?!?!?! see, see that's why i dont agree with polygyny!" LMFAO! ok in this country, in this society, in this decade, polygyny is a hard pill to swallow right now i honestly beleive this might be the one of the keys to building our nation back as we were.....

I am still a believer in polygyny and am knowledgeable of the verses you mentioned. As for your cain refrence. I believe that adam was the first man to be made in the image of hvhY (which means he had the holy spirit) but there were othe men on the earth just like their were giants. There were propbably many different types of homonids it was Just the men of adams liniage that could recieve the holy spirit.

@upka05 What people. Gen. 4:13,14. Where did these other people come from if Cain & Abel r Adams first Sons? Y is he affraid? This is Y we do not use our own deductive reasoning for the word of God. In honest disclosure, I do not practice nor have I ever poly. I just like the way the debate gets heated with lack of true understanding. For instance, how did people get married prior to the Roman empire? U ever think about a man who has kids with 3 different women? 3 divorces? the diff is?

@upka05 wow. It is amazing to see how serious people get on the topic. I wonder where u stand a yr later after much studying? But, I will say your facts r wrong. the Bible does in fact have evidence of Poly made Legal or lawful. Check out Exo.21:10 and Deut. 21:15-17 and 2Sam 12:8. There is a lot more. Also, Lamech is the first person mentioned; does not = the first to do it! That is deduction not scripture. Lastly, Y did Cain say if u send me away PEOPLE might kill me? what people?

God didnt will it to happen? That doesnt fit with the bible. If that were true then why did god give david wives as a blessing to him in 2sam 12:7-8. Polygyny is a gift given by God. No where does it say otherwise in the bible. Dont add to scripture or the plauges will be added unto you.
