He was a beast! I really miss players like him who don't mind to take risks to win points unlike 90% of the players nowadays who only wait for unforced errors from the opponents!

@abcjc1 I can understand that but although Roger tries to be this modest and humble player, arrogance does show. I believe that Safin should have done more with his career and there are many players such as Rios, Krajicek, etc who fall under the same boat. At the end of the day, Roger should have won because he has a better matched compared to Safin. All i am getting at is that Roger was mad he lost cuz he should have taken this game but he let Safin in and that is wat caused the upset.

@stanleyyelnats11 the match went 5 sets, cut the guy some slack, it was a semifinal match of a grand slam too, there are only 4 grand slams a year and every player on the tour looks forward to playing them the most. I just think roger was disappointed that he lost as any player would have been, i dont think it was disrespectful

gulbis is the exact same as safin, gulbis is the most talented guy on the tour just needs a stronger mentality

i love federer but you can see when he lost that Marat had to wait on federer's time just to shake hands at the end of the match. Federer is just too ignorant to see that Marat had him that day. Agree or disagree?
