Deciding to go ahead with the shock treatments.

In watching this again, I wish I had edited the whole first part out and just started the story already. But I guess my nervousness about the video is part of the story.

  • all i can say is me too.

it's so good to be hearing this from a fellow sufferer, rather than the sterile medical talk of dr's. makes me feel a whole lot more normal.

    can't wait for part 2.

  • Yeah, I can't wait for part 2 either, but I'm having trouble putting it together. I'm struggling with the right tone, and I don't really know how to use the video editing software, so that's a problem. I hope it'll be up soon.

  • I guess no glasses is not an option? It makes your face come out more, what about lenses?

Anyhow, indeed as many said, couragious story and for me (as a professional worker with juveniles that share much of the things you talk about)it's good to see someone taking the stand. I subscribed!

  • Glad to hear you're onboard. I have tried contact lenses, but they make my eyes itch.

  • My mom writes for the newspaper too!! Also, in my family, I've got the opposite. In my family, depression runs on both sides...I got out easy, but every time I get upset my mom wants to take me to therapy or just assumes I have depression! It's so annoying!! I like the thinner more reddish glasses. They're cute and interesting. The other ones are nice too, though. Oh yes apparently hip glasses won! Lol.

  • Your mom's just trying to help. I know it's annoying when your younger, but I'm so grateful now that my mom was looking out for me. She still is, actually.

  • Thank you so much for your courage. I am so exhausted. I am going through all of your videos. I'm trying to find strength through your fight. Much luv.

  • Smart is very sexy.

  • God created watermelons, and then created humans to eat them. We did not have tools to use to cut watermelons into small pieces, so god gave us 2 nostrils so that we could still breathe, without having to stop eating, just in case the first nostril got clogged up with watermelon.

  • i wonder if starving africans get depression. I wanna look it up!...lol
