We just lost Whitney Houston R.I.P. as I am hearing this amazing vocal perfomance by Donna Summer for the first time.Many are "now" saying that Whitney Houston was the" best" female vocalist of all time.If that's true, then where does that leave this great lady of song and so many other female artists that can sure nuff "SING'?

Beautiful! And high praise from Patti Labelle, indeed. My pastor (Bishop E.E. Cleveland) used to always close out his Sunday morning sermons with 'How Great Thou Art'. This brought back memories of a blessed childhood.

Donna was ALWAYS a Christian. She renewed her faith in the very late 70's early 80. Example: she sang THIS song on tour BEFORE the RENEWAL and it was a sweaty, Janice Joplin type ROCK performance. Donna's faith is part of her upbringing and she simply renewed her faith in Christ and turned to God for answers instead of astrology. She set her house in order, in other words. But she has been a Christian since childhood.
