Have you listened to her lately? She now swallows her voice....way pulled back and not at all as good. And her phrasing has become all internalized and lazy. I think she is reacting to her strongest suit: she has a pretty voice. Damned pretty. I wish she would come back to this clear, honest voice and style once again.

This is one of my most favourite tunes of Shawn (along with soooo many others). I've heard her first back in 1991 and did not stop ever since. Exquisite singing AND guitar playing. Very nice lyrics. I wish I could witness more of her live performances, but living in Germany is a definite drawback in this respect. :-(
