This is a tribute to the metal legend Chuck Schuldiner. Here's Death covering "God Of Thunder" by Kiss, one of Chuck's favorite bands. I believe this song inspired him to become the great personality he is today. A true God of metal thunder!!

I heard this song today in the bus,in my celphone,obviously,and I rare like it,It's kinda different from Death style...when I came back home I started to google it,and I found is a Kiss cover(You all already know that,but,well,I have respect to them,I don't like Kiss,but I respect the influence :D

the sad thing about young people or a non experienced metal listener that like a few death metal bands is that they dont understand that the bands they think are killer like death, cannibal corpse, morbid angel, marduk,... all grew up and love bands like kiss black sabbath, judas priest...i love it all but, im a true metalhead, theres a difference between a metalhead and some person that just likes a few death bands that they found out about at hot topic.

Let me point this out: Chuck did this cover as a testament to his love of KISS and was a spur the moment thing in the studio. It wasn't planned - they rehearsed something like ten minutes. I released it as a tribute, for the ears of fans - other than that, it was never meant to be released. The fact RR put it on a comp wasn't meant to happen. So, instead of being critical, enjoy it. Remember: Chuck worshipped KISS. :) ERIC GREIF

in the '70s, metal was a lot different than today, and that should also be considered, because you only had heavy metal, and no other sub-genres
