Is that a sexy Yoko background from Gurren Lagan?
-
Well, you can kinda see the skull hairpiece, the red hair, and the flame bra is a dead giveaway. Some people (emphasis on some) people would probably think throughout the video, "Goddammit, Kayin, minimize Steam NOW."

Hah, I meant to cover that up more so I'd avoid that question.
But if anyone else wnats to know, I'm pretty sure I got it from pixiv somewhere.

Nice. Imma have to try this sometime.
Also, I wonder how many people are gonna ask where you got the Yoko background from.

Oh, and I also wanted to ask what do you think it would take to make some sort of HUD that actually displayed something relevant to what you're playing?

Yeah it is Yoko. Also why would I need that? With the hat on I have an easy time looking at my instruments!

That's true. Like you said, it's pretty low tech, so maybe the next step would be to spruce it up a tad.

Theres not much farther to go from here. Head tracking works as well as it could possibly work. A decent 3d headset is a BIG investment that really isn't worth it.
All I really want to do is tape down some wires and neaten up the appearance.

We've done that. My friend has a headset. Sadly it wasn't all THAT great, but it was still pretty good!
