Contrast that with the prochoicers. Theres really only one famous picture of an illegal, back alley abortion out there. We didnt need bloody pictures to make our case.

And we damn sure didnt make it a matter of someone breaking the law if they didnt look at a picture. That bespeaks the extreme weakness of their position.

(cont)... They are, after all, both "killing individual humans", and therefore, should they not both be shown publicly, not to make a moral statement, but to show the reality, as I said? I can imagine if these GOP supporters (like the ones who cheered Rick Perry's record of executions) saw someone die, they would be as against it as they are against abortion. Especially beheadings, which are quite disturbing and gut-wrenching. Perhaps this is hypocrisy in the GOP camp ...

I'm not religious, and I don't consider the abortion debate to be between religious and non-religious, there are moral grey areas and it's not an easy topic, no simple yes or no response or solution. Ms. Rose makes a fair point, that things that are so accepted by many should perhaps be done publicly to show their reality. However, many GOP members also support the death penalty; should that not also be done publicly, and violently? Perhaps we should have public beheadings, like in Saudi?

Lila, why don't we show the conceptions in the "public square" so we can see what goes on when babies are being made. Would the subjects be arrested for lewd behavior. Would we ban people from having sex at all?
