  • Nice video.

  • @aswchris Those traffic lights are set to "flash" on weekends and after hours. That way they become a "Flashing Red Stop Light" and once you stop and look you are allowed to go through the intersection. Not wait for them to change. LOL How much time people waste. LOL

  • Maybe because one block east of the downtown are the slums with way too much crime. Businesses have moved north to Belden Village and the Strip for shopping. I grew up close to a small city of 8000 out West. On Saturdays the streets are packed! Downtown is where their Brass Buckle, JCPenney, major shoe stores, dry cleaner, major dress, clothing, and men's shops are. I am not sure Canton has done ANYTHING to promote businesses like that to come back downtown. Very sad.

  • dude, this is cool

  • Nice vid, but for the love of god why were you waiting at those red lights? You are allowed to turn left on red when going from a one-way, onto another one-way.

Any way, again nice job, would have liked to have seen Market a little more.

  • Very nice. But so depressing to see all those deserted blocks where (I'd bet) it once had a lively downtown decades ago, before jobs moved away! Sad to see a downtown that makes the current condition of the one(Springfield, OH) where my maternal grandfather grew up look lively, vs Canton. And I thought Springfield's downtown was struggling enough!

Did enjoy seeing the older architecture in Canton's downtown. Hope cities like this, Muncie, Canton, Youngstown, etc. can one day make a comeback!

  • I'm from Canton
