First of all I would like to say that Education and given an equal chance to excel should be given to all humans, but we know that is not the case with African Americans. For over 400 years we were deprived of education and knowledge and murdered for the color of our skin. This is the repercussions of those years. That is still not to say that we can and should change as a race. This was seen with the voting in of the 1st African American President.
