I'm re-re-reading the books, because why not?! I should probably state that I'm twenty-five years old. The most poignant moment of the books for me is when Fawkes flies off after Dumbledore dies. That got me choked up more than that certain event in HP7.2 involving a certain professor that is also very heart wrenching :,(

One of my favorite things about the series has quickly become its flawed characters. It's easy to forget sometimes that just because they're wizards doesn't mean they're not also human!
I will definitely be passing these books along to my kids.
