OMG...I saw this in 1977 or whenever on the tonight show. I was never the again. She was the best, and for the longest time I actually thought I had imagined this performance in some 70's induced altered state of mind...
Thank you for putting this up...I am sane after all...well...maybe just insane for Peg.
Have all her stuff CD, LP gone now but replaced
Peggy Lee forever

Never saw this. Peggy taking on a little of the Rosemary Clooney look. She struggled for good listeners,a supportive record company, and above all material in the '70s, when every song was C&W prosaic recitative, and the loudest instrument in the mix was always the bass (usually electric). Sinatra and Sonny Stitt were two more caretakers of the Great American Songbook who had to settle for much less.

This is my new favorite, aged & honest.

Great stuff! Thank you for sharing.
Very mellow and sweet. I'd love to also see Peggy's hot performance of Peter Allen's "I Go to Rio," from this same show!
