@ballsdeepinagook No, these were knockoff toys maybe by a company named FunCo International in the late 1980s. The company, based in Mexico City, eventually went out of business because all of their figures were made from asbestos laced plastics and lead based paint. To this day they're illegal in 187 countries, including Mexico.

@UltimateTomato Absolutely. We hope to one day get funding to do an entire documentary about FunCo Int. It's a fascinating story. And a story that needs to be told! :-)
