how to make your wow private server public non-hamachipart 2 sorry i forgot to add this part :P hope this helps people out

here's what you'll need...

1. Go to Start. Then Run.
2. Type. C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc\
3. This will open a folder, Click on Host.file and open it with Notepad/Wordpad.
4. At the end of the file add the following.


127.0.0.1 (Dynamic DNS)
(Internal IP) (Dynamic DNS)
(External IP) (Dynamic DNS)

i cant save it on hosts its really weird

you have to play around with it a little... go to properties and take off read only file first if thats on... took me a little while to get it to work the first time and to tell you the truth im not really sure how i got it to work

Okay, listen up. To open your host file, go to>

start>programs>accessories

Open notepad in admin mode "Run as Administrator" by right clicking it.

in notepad, Open file> locate the host file.

It worked and I created an account for my brother and he can login to the account but when he clicks the server and hits the "Okay" button to go to his character list for that server it just brings him back to the server selection??? Can you help me?
