i loved this show. but out of all the wes craven movies that have been remade; LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT, THE HILLS HAVE EYES, and NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET why hasnt anyone remade this

Saw this show a couple times as a kid. Swamp Thing never looked better. Is it me, or is actually better than the Wes Craven movie?

I still get chills when i hear that narration:
"I was once a man. I know the evil men do. Do not bring your evil here, I warn you. Beware the wrath of.....SWAMP THING."

I loved this show growing up and I still do. Closest thing we'll probably ever have to a decent representation of Swamp Thing.

I was 7 and my uncle was 11 when this started airing on TV and every week we would watch faithfully.

That intro used to scare the shit out of me as a kid. When that shit came on at night, I knew it was time to go to sleep!
