In many ways stop-motion is more believable, because it is actually physically existent, whereas CGI is just a bunch of pixels put together.

The way these Sinbad creatures move is so magnificently creepy! especially for it's time!

Zelda makes killing skeletons look so easy. This seems more realistic.

Excellent quality frame-by-frame animation seamlessly integrated into film footage. As an animator, I actually enjoy watching stop motion more than CGI (especially knowing the time and patience that goes into it). And Harryhausen is definitely one of the greats!
