  • Superb video, I am sure I got it also on the mag. On the advanced uphill, what sort of shock settings do you use, is rear on pro pedal and front lock out? looks like front is moving quite a bit. Love to hear your advice, also is this ride on High Street and coming down from Place fell??

  • @jeronius I uploaded this from a magazine :)

I wouldn't lock the front out, you'll simply rebound backwards on any bumps killing your cadence. If you have Fox TALAS shocks, you can make travel adjustments on the fly to match your pro pedal settings on the rear.

  • what bikes are you using

  • That Dog =)

  • So I watched the video last night. Today after work I tried my first wheelie. I laid there for ten minutes in very bad pain and only got up when I heard someone coming down the trail. Four hours later my buttocks are black and blue. I have an egg sized lump on one cheek and the other has scratches that look like a cat went crazy on my ass. I had to wait an hour to try again and was able to pedal three revolutions on the second attempt and four on the third.

  • 06:24 doggie grabs stick for good measure. You never know when a good old stick might come in handy.

  • @TheRcking10 If you're talking about the bikes in teh video they're two Orange Fives and (I think) an Alpine Five

  • Cheers Kev. I have fox pro pedal, but only on and off, fronts are fox 140 floats (Lapierre zesty 314 2012). One of the best videos on skills out there. Have you a route of this ride in a mag?? Jerry
