Former NFL offensive guard, Gordon Wright, and his wife, Dora, finally get a new air conditioner through the combined efforts of several retired player advocacy groups. Where were the NFL and the NFLPA?
Under their Byzantine rules, Gordon Wright does not receive any Disability or Pension Benefits whatsoever because as a Pre-'93 retired player, the rules were intentionally written so that he needed to have played for at least 4 years to qualify for any benefits!
Gordon is now suffering from early-stage dementia most likely from concussions he received while playing football in the NFL.
