My tribute to Ishtar. When I was about six, my father came home after watching Ishtar when it was out in theaters. He said it was the worst movie he ever saw and that he walked out of the theater about halfway into the film. I found this hilarious and wanted to see it. When it came out on HBO he taped it for me. It has since become a family favorite and one of my favorite movies of all time.

  • @1:58

  • @espertite Soul seeker. Try ISHTAR DUSTIN HOFFMAN :D

  • Most appropriate for the upcoming Iran war. This looks to me like CNN is starting the yellow dog journalism, a prelude to get the American public up in arms. And I think @2:00 I see CNN embedding journalists

  • One of the worst-reviewed good movies ever! Just sawit on TV this afternoon!

  • You have great taste. This was an awesome movie! I always loved this song. Beatty and Hoffman were so hilarious in this. I saw this when it first played the Writer's Guild West. The audience was rolling in the aisles. The critics go this one wrong...and sadly America lost out and so few people got to see this in the theater.

  • Arum virtuum, cano .Wish I could get this song. This is vintage satiral poke @ overly orchestrated media & marketing, Pas mal.

  • @espertite I taped it off my VCR Ttape. Can't find it, even on old free Napster, Morpheus, slsk, E-MULE.
