It must be the original recording. Here Pippo thinks he is as cute as Apollo e saltella come un gallo (is jumping like a cock). In the following versions, Pippo saltella come un pollo (a chicken) which rhymes with Apollo. I wonder who had the (good) idea to substitute a chicken for the cock, maybe Kramer himself & coworkers, but too late for this early record, or Barzizza & Fioresi/Lescano recording shortly thereafter.
