Well, it's definitely been a while I know :)
I've been REALLY busy. I've started first year of university (hoping to major in Neuroscience, Psychology and Philosophy!) and has gotten to be very hectic (trying to finish a BIology lab report worth 10% due in less that 12 hours.. yeahh T__T)
The main reason why I'm putting this video up is because I'm going to be doing a few tribute songs to a very important individual in my life. His name was Jim Jones and was my Grade 11 Biology teacher at Jarvis Collegiate. He recently passed away (in February) of colon cancer and his passing has afflicted many of us, including me.
From the time I knew that he would not be on this earth for very long, I grew very sad and distant from people (that's usually how I become during times like these) and kept things bottled up. I was fortunate enough to see him before his passing and got to learn a lot about him, his life and many other aspects on life. On the day he left this world, I had learned from a good friend a few moments before my chemistry lab and I was emotionally shattered. I became very apathetic in regards to life and motivation, but I knew that Mr. Jones would never want to see me go through this.
Mr. Jones, I can never ever repay you for all that you have done to me. I knew you were a man of the arts and so I pay my tribute to you in the songs/pieces that I felt represented you as a teacher, a friend and a human being. As I type these words while tear flow down my eyes, I am happy that you are in a better place and hope my music and words can be heard by you, wherever you are.
"A Busy Student is a Happy Student."
Love,
