how many fps you get?

hi mate between 50fps and 90fps,however i have noticed that direct x9 classics like quake4 and doom3 run better on older cpu,s like the pentium 4 and athlon64,i tried this game on my other pc which uses a pentium D 2.8ghz and 3gb ddr2 ram and a radeon HD2600xt and it only gets between 35fps and 55fps,and wont allow "ultra" settings were as the p4 and geforce 7900gs runs sweet on ultra setting also these dx9 games run better on windows xp cheers !

thanks mate quake 4 and doom 3 are quite old now but they still look good today and especially in ultra detail personally i think "call of duty " is better than quake 4,especially cod2 and cod4,however i have heard id software are developing "doom 4" with full direct x 10 graphics so that should be interesting thanks again for the comment  cheers

hi mate thanks for the comment,yes i have allready played doom 3 which uses the same engine as quake4,thus the same cheats including "god" and "give all" for invincibility and all weapons respectively another game made using the doom 3 engine is "prey" however this requires slightly better hardware/graphics card than doom thanks again mate !
