Del Rivers and his Fudge Club Band, who lost their focus after their platinum-scented single "Duesenberg (All the Way)", return with a single that aims for new depth and direction. Inspired by the recent death of celebrity horse Mound Builder, band cofounders Rivers and twin brothers Tim and Thomas Fudalik eschew the usual themes of cars and apes to craft a message of the magic of youthful obsession, i.e. collecting cereal prizes. The new single "Wacky Bushy Pine-ackles (Brand Cereal)" reveals a band that may not have exactly refound the stripped-down groove of "Duesenberg", but do seem to be on a winding road back from cities of apes.
