  • Legitimate size, good athleticism and moves fluidly. Nice stroke too! Hope dude gets drafted by a team like the Spurs - they've got a good D-league outfit, he could develop really well given he's only 19. Joel Freeland was in a similar situation with arguably a touch less skill, so I reckon Richards will get drafted. P.S. Great work Sam!

  • @MuswellMunky Yeah the kid is legit. Thanks for the kind words bro.

  • Im british n I'd love to see more british players get drafted !

  • british basketball is embarrassing,i play for my sixth form team(im in year 10) and a club.If i did that with rugby it would be amazing but becuase its basketball in the UK its not worth shit

  • @ibanez2damaxx most teams have try outs every summer. keep an eye out on the bbl website also the national leauuge websites to man

  • How does one go about applying to join BBL?

  • he's got the handles and all he need to do is improve shooting and he will be similar to k.d but with the strength

  • @ :40 that is a pro level hesitation to a jumper wow!

  • Wow what a nice pick by the spurs!

  • @WildDanHibiki

I'm pretty sure the Spurs are going to try to get him during the off season, Dice is retiring so that leaves a spot for another big.

When Richards was drafted he measured at 6'10 1/2 without shoes and 230lbs, last November (6 months after the draft) they took his height and weight, it turns out he grew to 7'0 without shoes and gained 17lbs of muscle (now 247). All NBA players have their height listed with their shoes on meaning he'll be listed at 7'1 and 250+ pretty impressive

  • hope the spurs pick him up next season. duncan + splitter + richards = a big, solid front line, which is what we really lacked against memphis.

  • britains national team needs a tall gordon ramsay type player.

  • Go for him, finally someone who can get to the rim and finish a shot!
