Screamer 2 gameplay played and recorded with DOSBox.

The 3Dfx version runs in Gulikoza's DOSBox but I couldn't record the gameplay with that. Also, the 3Dfx version had huge lag on my (low-spec) computer. But if you want to test the 3Dfx version here's how:

1. Download this archive: http://www.mediafire.com/?kni1iziram71r7v and extract it in the game folder.

2. Use Gulikoza's DOSBox and start the game with S2_3DFX.EXE

3. If you want to play in fullscreen, open OpenGLid.ini in the DOSBox folder and change InitFullScreen=0 to InitFullScreen=1

  • that car ur using has quite an amazing preformance on the California track.

  • @Donny2350 don't blame you buddy ! this game is keeping it real since 1996 !

One of the first arcade races wich allows a player to adjust the car handling.

Also the physics are pretty awesome for a old race game.

Not to mention the special feel of the game, like the arcade sounds, the design, the layout ect. I wish more developers took this game as a basis for their new race sims/games

  • @Donny2350

Hopefully you were joking [with a hint of sarcasm], because you do realize this game was from 1996 right? This was before GPU's were mainstream, and for the time, this was graphically amazing, hell it still looks amazing even in software rendering mode! :D

  • Fantastic game. My PC couldn't handle the SVGA mode back then.

  • wow just randomly found this forgotten treasure!

  • Needs a better frame rate. The rest looks pretty good for a DOS game.

  • SHit this was my favorite game back in the day... thanks for bringing back memories!

  • This is the realest game i have ever seen, i am going to sell my xbox 360 and all my games just for this!!!!
